Carleton University is feeling the burn from students on social media for removing a weight scale from its gym to promote a more holistic approach to a healthy body image.
Ya, this comes under the heading of 'who cares?' I don't understand the stupidity of taking the scale out of the gym -- were there forced weighings? My weight has fluctuated over a 50 lb. range depending on what I'm doing for a living, but I've never owned a bathroom scale. I really don't care, I can tell roughly what I weigh, and occasionally I'll get on a scale at somebody's house to see where I'm at. But a scale would seem to be a useful addition to a gym, the person who decided to remove it is an idiot.
So, how do they plan to do that, when they don't have a scale ?
But seriously, removing a scale from a gym? Silly stuff.
You must not upset the fat basterds sensitively overweight people.
No, I watched this 600lb woman on tv, and she seems quite happy with her big fat life.
When will they be getting rid of the scales in doctor's offices too?
When they figure out how to charge people for blowing helium up their arse before they are weighted.
