Hmmm...$97 million to protect Obama and his family for 8 years, $500k to Protect Trump for one day. Sure, that's what New York City is paying, but do you think they'll shoulder that cost for four years without getting some sort of funding from the Feds? I doubt it.
Trump's three trips to Mar-A-Lago cost an estimated $10 million - even if he cuts that down to once a month for the rest of his time in office (say 35 more), at that rate, those costs alone will exceed Obama's entire security costs.
But what's a billion or three for you fiscal conservatives, right?
