Clarence Ewasiw’s combine churns through the icy furrows, flinging straw into the snow. It’s a strange sight in February, even for an agricultural stronghold like Alberta’s Thorhild County.

    Yep, brother and Dad had to make some modifications to the combine so it would run in a little colder weather this year. Hyd oil was getting a little too thick.

    You do what you have to do, because no one else will do it for you.

    People still thing food comes from a grocery store. They don't realize the shit the farmer has to do to get the food there, cheaply and of good quality.
