Billionaire businessman Mike Ilitch, who founded the Little Caesars pizza empire before buying the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers, has died. He was 87.

    I ate his pizza.

    I watched his Redwings rebuilding during the late 80's.

    He wanted both teams to win. He always strived for the team and community to succeed. One of the truly good ones has left the building.
