He's taking out the needless extortion payments to state and provincial governments and he's requiring the American end of the pipeline to be built with American-made (not Chinese) pipe.

I don't see a problem here as the extortion payments that are not directly related to pipeline impacts or mitigation are illegal under existing US law and should never have been approved in the first place.

None of the pipe was ever coming from China.

50% was coming from Welspun in Arkansas.

24% was coming from Evraz in Saskatchewan.

16% was coming from ILVA in Italy.

10% was coming from Welspun in India (all to be inspected and certified by Welspun in Arkansas).

74% was made directly in North America. 84% was made by North American 'entities'.

Looks like 100% of the American segment will have to come from America.

President Trump never said North America first, he said America first.

So what? I am sure Trump can find a pussy to grab when it concerns the Canadian portion.

I'm sure if Canada isn't happy with the terms we will just walk, right? As we know how Alberta is booming with jobs.

Sorry, I don't need to repeat what the RCMP and their unaccountable pal are doing in Canada. It is what it is. We haven't earned the right to argue considering Canadian underhanded tactics against it's citizens and foreign businesses.

That would be between Trump and a US corporate entity. However, I am pretty sure that that would require some legal changes.

I would have to dig back quite a ways, but I am pretty sure that Welspun's bid came from their US entity.

    We are America, .

Edit. No need to resort to this. My apologies.

Lol! No worries. I have been called a lot worse. I was being a smart ass to Peck420 trying to make a joke. Its actually a serious situation where many people are probably going to end up getting hurt or killed in the coming months in Standing Rock. It was a misplaced attempt at humor on my part.
