Donald Trump's 'running war' on the media is continuing into his presidency, with statements over the weekend calling into question the extent to which information from the White House can be trusted.

Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway called them "alternative facts."

See, in the old days (last week) we called them what they were. "Bullshit".

But if the Trumpification is to lable them for the politically correct, "Alternate Facts" goes well with "Post Truth".

This page has a host of videos where Conway bashed Trump for all sorts of BS (before she was his campaign manager of course), so what did Trump do? Well, he hired her of course!

I guess that other thread was true. The only thing a Trump media advisor needs to have is a lack of self respect.

What this is really about at it's core is that Trump is threatening the power of the liberal hegemony that is encapsulated in the liberal media.

Their time is at an end and they're struggling to remain relevant.

In other words, it's the replacement of facts with lies.

    True.

How many liberal media polls told you that Hillary was inevitable?

Let me counter that by telling you how many accurately projected Trump as the winner by refusing to oversample Democrats or to 'adjust' their results when they didn't get the result they wanted:

Just the LA Times was the ONLY liberal media outlet that got the polling right on Trump through much of the primary and into the general election.

The rest of them lied to you.

That's why they're not going to have a friendly relationship with this man because this man isn't Bush who will suck it up and put up with these assholes. Trump isn't there for appearances and he certainly isn't in DC to play the same old games with these assholes.

No one predicting a Hilary win was lying. But if they were reporting, now, that she had won, that would be something different. That would be a lie.

Free advice for Donald: Never get in an argument with folks who buy ink by the barrel.

For the rest of us, there's George Carlin's adage: "I have certain rules I live by. My fist rule: I don't believe anything the government tells me. And I don't take very seriously the media."
