The Thunderbirds Review

The Thunderbirds are go!! So they say... I saw the preview months ago and waited till it hit video. If you ever saw the original puppet version on TV back in the 60-70's then the title and theme ring a bell. Overall the movie was very well done. The director is Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: the Next Generation) and he kept the scenery and characters true to form. The basic plot is Good against Evil...The little guy pulls through and becomes the hero. There is alot of cartoon element to it and but not so much that it's tacky. I say for the $2 or 3.99 rent it and check out Miss Penelope and Mr. Tracy in action. New actors and actress' make it a pleasant change of pace because you're not comparing one role to another. Bill Paxton stars as Jeff Tracy. I say thumbs up!!
