If you've ever seen Ong Bak or heard of Tony Jaa, then you know what to expect in The Protector. If you haven't, then let me tell what you can expect. You can expect:
1. No recognizable plot
2. A soundtrack provided by The Rza
3. Brutal and electrifying fights that often seem to defy gravity combined with bone cracking hits. And that really is what this movie is all about. The "story" is really just there to provide set ups for each awesome fight to the next.
And the moves Tony Jaa does are insane. He has the agility of Jackie Chan and the harcore intensity of Jet-Li.
So if you're like me (that is a fan of martial-arts beat-'em-up movies) this movie is definately worth seeing. But if you're not, don't, because the "story" is really bad.
