Well if anything "anti-American' is said then youre more than welcome to defend your country, just as we did.
You say you EXPECTED us to all start frothing at the mouth and then seem genuinely suprised at it.
In the beginning we werent picking on the fact that youre American we were commenting on your incredible stupidity....
With MILLIONS starving in the streets and thousands dying on the other side of the planet I guess being the "sole hyper-power" (WTF?) has a hefty price tag.

I know A.M. all "Murricans" are dumb. Yet despite our obvious mental deficiencies, we have still managed to become the sole hyper-power on the planet. Imagine what we could do if we had the mental capacity of a Canadian such as yourself.

Yes, Uboat, you caught us all red-handed. Frothing at the mouth. Like you wouldn't if I posted on a pro-American website.....
The whole point of Mythbusters is to validate or disprove myths, and the myth is question was proven to be just that....a myth.
Hey, did you know that all Americans are assholes who have their heads blow up if anything remotely intelligent is ever said in their presence?

The arrow makes me sad. We had gold. Noone in the world could match her in any way. She flew through 3 states before they knew she was a plane. The problem was one part rising development costs and one part defenbaker being a moron who couldnt see past his ego. Sure it would have cost money to build. What doesnt. But every country in the world would have lined up for a piece of the action. We would be years and years ahead in space exploration. Oh well. not meant to be. The things was scrapped and the plans destroyed the researchers left and then the f-18 was born. look familiar??? oh what could have been. Oh well. guess we will just have to settle for buying second had shit from countries who dont want it anymore and using it for another 20 years. Sure hope Canada wakes up soon.
thats my rant.

Actually I was just having a little fun with you. I've read some of the vilest things said about America, and Americans on this site and that seems to be all good. I decided to give a little bit back and as I expected you all started frothing at the mouth. "Mission Accomplished."

The "REACTIONS" you see here are a result of your first belittling comments.... what else would you expect? Think if the situation were reversed and something along these lines happened on an American site?
Would YOU not stand up for your country?
Holy fuck man have someone help you piece it all together....

Hmm that looks an awful lot like what wiki has posted about the Arrow. I realise that the "Mythbusters" were trying to bust a myth. Probably sent in by some Canadian hoping that Canada might be mentioned on an American TV show. So the whole pilot thing is most likely a myth, but judging from some of the reactions here I'm not so sure that exploding Canadian heads is a myth.

You realise(hopefully) that it is a myth, and therefore, must be proven before being called truth, and it was busted....So shut up.

No just setting the record straight there asswipe.
Maybe check the story and facts before you go mouthin off...The design was entering the middle stages of testing when it was cancelled in 1959, after a long and bitter political debate. The prototypes were then destroyed, and the blueprints were burned, creating an enduring piece of Canadian mythology. Many of the workers moved to the US in a massive "brain drain" to become lead engineers, program managers, and heads of engineeringin NASA's Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs.
Yur welcome

So the original myth dealt with Canadian pilot's heads exploding due to faulty wiring? I'm thinking that perhaps their heads were exploding because someone bruised their fragile Canadian egos. Much like this thread has shown.
