Mini Bio:	<P>Composer and singer of so many songs, including If Your Could Read My Mind, Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald, Alberta Bound and Early Morning Rain, Lightfoot is a genuine Canadian Icon.  </P> <P>Believe it or not, there are those in the US who steadfastly believe he's from the Southern US, a misconception that makes him chuckle!  </P> <P>Since his first "appearance', at age five, in St. Paul's United Church in Orillia, Ontario, to his current 2006 tour, Gord has entertained, pleased and fascinated thousands and thousands of fans throughout the world.  In fact, he recently returned to the church of his youth, putting on a private performance for church members.</P>
