$1:
He is a general patrol officer in the North End, but he often acts like a traffic cop. He's known for being vigilant in enforcing traffic infractions -- then following up in court and on overtime when necessary -- and working every special duty he can find, from movie shoots to liquor stores.

Yes, those special duties count as overtime, too, because the businesses and corporations who hire him pay the city, and the city pays the officer.

Good for him. I wouldn't do that job for 200K. I don't even go to the North End unless I have to.

Between this:
$1:
How does he do it?
From what I hear, the formula is rather simple.
He works his butt off.

and this:
$1:
Yes, those special duties count as overtime, too, because the businesses and corporations who hire him pay the city, and the city pays the officer.

I say this:

R=UP

Amazing what hard work can do.

Not really newsworthy unless the department is so poorly run they have lots of cops getting ot instead of hiring new ones.
