Something like this was to be expected after the latest prisoner swap deal.

How about we all raise some money for the offing of the Saudi sand bandit who made this statement? I think $16.83 should be about what this camel turd in a kheffiah is worth as compost material.

There are many times when I think the Israeli's go way overboard with their aggressive military attitude, when I read about stuff like this is just proves Israel's point that it is hard to deal with these folks as civilized people.

Let's send GWB over to hold hands with and kiss him, maybe that will mellow him out.

American policy is that the current president must be the one who gets cozy with brutal world leaders, not former presidents. We could wait until a Republican is president, but I don't know if we have that kind of time.

$1: In Israel, extremists have offered two rewards of $100,000 to anyone who kills a Palestinian released in the Schalit deal if the Palestinian killed Israelis. Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/10/30 ... z1cKHd8vQ9Both sides have pieces of shit it seems.

I've timed it, Beav--for your average member of the rabid right, the memory is about four months.

I'm sure I could find a picture of Obama being all ass kissing to a Saudi or two, don't you think?

Go for it. I'm sure the anti-Obama crowd would have published it. Show him holding hands (not shaking them) or kissing a Saudi or two. Bonus points for ass kissing - even Bush only did that in private. I seriously doubt the connections between the Obama family and the house of Saud are anywhere near what they are with the Bush family. $1: House of Bush, House of Saud: The Secret Relationship Between the World's Two Most Powerful Dynasties is a 2004 book by Craig Unger that explores the relationship between the Saudi Royal Family and the Bush extended political family. Unger asserts that the groundwork for today's terrorist movements and the modern wars that have sprung up about them was unintentionally laid more than 30 years ago with a series of business deals between the ruling Saudis and the powerful Bush family. The Saudis received investments and military protection in exchange for cooperation on lucrative oil deals. The author claims that the result has been a shady alliance between "the world's two most powerful dynasties." Unger writes, "Never before has an American president been so closely tied to a foreign power that harbors and supports our country's mortal enemies." (Wiki)

One President might praise some dictator, the next might be bombing him. It's not a partisan issue, even if a few lefties think it is. DanSC is right, it's the responsibility of current, sitting Presidents to make such actions. I'm not sure if this is somehow a revelation to you, or something, or if you enjoy playing a smartass.

I enjoy playing smartass. And pointing out that yes, every American president sucks up to the Saudis, but that the Bushes just sucked way way harder, and in private. If you see that as equivalent, then your vision seems a bit skewed. $1: How are the Bushes compromised? In House of Bush, House of Saud, I trace more than $1.4 billion in contracts and investments from the House of Saud to companies in which the Bushes and their friends have had key roles. (Michael Moore uses this figure in Fahrenheit 9/11.) Saudi money bailed out Harken Energy when George W. Bush was on its board of directors. That's how he made his fortune. Bush 41 and James Baker traveled to Saudi Arabia repeatedly for the Carlyle Group to woo Saudi investors and win contracts. The Bush family remains close to Prince Bandar, even though Bandar's wife actually funded two 9/11 hijackers—indirectly and inadvertently, of course. Indirect and inadvertent—that's the Saudi way. http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_ ... _pass.html
