You bet ya. For a small town like Forchu this will be a blessing as ten truck loads will probably be the most of the town's catch for the season. There's plenty of lobsters but because of the economy there aren't the number of buyers needed to make a successful season.

Wow a real scholar here on this forum-who'd a thunk it!?

FYI-There's cold water and there's colder water-the article asserts that the water near this mythical fishing village-which is just a few shacks on the rocks-is somehow colder/produces a better quality product than elsewhere in Atlantic Canada.

FYI-the reason the season is only two months long is because Lobsters remain in the deeps waiting for shallower water to warm-you's know this if......

1-you knew anything other than SFA about Lobster life cycles

2-you'd ever bought and eaten one

In reality, lobsters wait for fall to come closer to the surface and feed, actually waiting for the waters to cool down. They go back down later, not because the water gets colder, but because the waters gets too rough for them.

You'd know this, Barilko, if you'd spent a good part of your youth living in NS and working on lobster boats.
