Exactly.

$1:
Angry lobbyists have fought back by ignoring government demands and continuing to work for the companies that hired them.

They've also privately taken the government to task for attempting to undermine their legal right to provide expert advice on negotiating with government, and ultimately attempting to influence policy.


Now while you've got them bent over the barrel, change policy so all these supposed expert lobbyists who are nothing more than money peddlers have to find honest work.

I'm pretty sure that companies wanting to deal the Federal Government (read make campaign contributions) can do so without having to hire a professional money launderer to pay people off under the table. The only reason these lobbyists are bitching is because Government is cutting out the middle man for purely economic reasons.
