I just don't get homophobia. Who the hell cares what other people do? Does it harm you? No. Does their marriage or love somehow weaken yours? No.

I think they believe that it does though. To claim gay marriage and gay love is equal to straight marriage well that is just wrong mister. You'll see that in people who support "gay unions" but not gay marriage. They don't want to use "marriage" because that implies equality kinda like they used to not want blacks to be equal to whites.

Now they want to ban any mention of homosexuality in schools (no doubt for fear the gays are using this method to "recruit")? To what end? If we don't teach the children it'll go away? That method works wonders for pregnancy and STDs.

Well, I'll step back and say, what exactly falls under this? Is it that a school will only teach the science of conception or is the school teaching about relationsships and the role of the science of reproduction.

I think the issue is, that focusing on the biology conception and reproduction is a sneaky way about not teaching about the biology of sexual orientation.

Yeah, actually because its yet another [i]carefully[i] worded attempt to ban homosexuality.

Right so we won't talk about "safe sex" in that regard because the awful gays can't have kids.

I distinctly recall lectures about safe sex and unsafe sex where the lecturer talked about rimming and fisting. Is that natural reproduction?

See this for what it is. It is a hysterical attack on homosexuality. What about getting information to homosexual teens about safe sex? Are you afraid the info will help "convert them"?
