I went on my BMQ with one of the soldiers killed in the first crash. Just got the phonecall about 15 minutes ago. He was easily the fittest and keenest guy on our course. Finished top in everything. To bad he didn't know a lick of french for the drill commands at our grad parade.

Rest in peace bro. I'm sorry to hear you're gone so soon. You will be missed.

Apparently 5 people died that night in various parts of the province. That ice blanket is deadly on the highways. Very sad.
