Moved one of my maple saplings about and I'm expanding a deer smörgåsbord veggie garden on the side of the house. I noticed the salmonberries I planted last year actually took, which surprised me. Anyway, it's back to rain this week. Hopefully it'll clear off again on the weekend so I can remove some more lawn for my strawberry patch and maybe plant some more blueberries somewhere.

Flower count out here. All that counting is harder on the back than shovelling snow, I'll tell ya.

I love the snow... going cross-country skiing tomorrow and I MAY try to bring the camera. Supposed to be sunny with a -2C high. Just hope I can stay on my skis.
