If Saudi experiences unrest, $220 per barrel will be the 'good' news.
Interesting times ahead for the kingdom, and the world prices of oil.

I'm happy I take a 20 minute daily walk to work and back. Guess I'll have to keep the car in the garage once Saudi goes kaput.

Agreed. 30 min walk to work, 20 min jog, 15 min bike and summer is coming.

At least those of you members that are in the military or police will still have a job to walk too. You might find yourself putting in a lot of overtime if there is a disruption in the oil flow from Saudia Arabia.

Ah well, the party had to come to an end sooner or later.
PS: Alberta oil developed in a safe & stable political climate = ka-ching!

Such is life, dawg. I'm way too high right now just from being Canadian to sweat any of the small stuff anymore, and that includes the self-destructive antics of our goofy friends to the south or any of the other dunskis in the rest of the world. To me, our own warts and all, it's now exactly like what the Romans probably used to say about their City: Canada - why would anyone even think of living anywhere else?

a 15% pay raise, actually wont help much, might delay things though.
Just getting the bike out of the garage, so no goddamn saudi riots for a few months !

Interesting. For a guy with such a hate on for the fundie right, who do you think our cousins down south will flock too when the going gets tough?
I think it's a little naive to think when the US implodes, we won't be sucked in with it.
