Letting people go with dignity is far more humane that forcing them to live through suffering and anguish.

I can totally understand his actions. We do it with our pets, and no one has a problem with that, but human life has to be prolonged, no matter the quality?

Putting Latimer in prison for 10 years was an embarassing miscarriage of justice.

Good for him. I hope he can make a happy life for himself, and that the parole system leaves him alone and spend their time watching the real dickheads instead. If it was up to me I'd pay him reparations for false imprisonment.

What I found really bad was the parole board giving him more time because he wasn't remorseful enough during his parole hearings. Boy, they really taught him a lesson didn't they, fucking assholes.

What a fucked up society we live in. Don't euthanize an animal that is obviously suffering and you get charged with cruelty to animals.
Euthanize a terminally ill person that is obviously suffering AND gives you permission, and you get slapped with a murder charge.
