I just hope she realizes her very freedom was paid for by Canada's military.

If I read it correctly, it is not mandatory to fill it out.
Shall we lock up every one who doesn't vote too?

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
It's interesting the sentiment of punishing crimes against freedom by depriving freedom.

This was a boycott. She's being punished for a stance against an American military giant. She doesn't feel that the philosophical respects for 'freedom' are enough to overpower the political convictions that help form her decisions in her life.

Leave her the hell alone.

She hasn't received a punishment yet.

$1:
Sandra Finley was charged in 2006 under federal law with non-compliance

$1:
Finley will be back in Provincial Court for sentencing January 20th.

She fought the law, and the law won.

That's like saying you don't want to pay your taxes because part of your taxes go to some purpose or anopther you don't agree with. It doesn't fly. You have to pay your taxes. You have to fill out the census. She's wrong, and she needs to face the consequences.

What does Lockheed Martin have to do with that?

Protest is the only form of voice citizens have anymore. If she withholds her personal information because she feels that information may be given to a foreign government without her consent, then she is most likely willing to live with the consequences.
