About 30 per cent of South Koreans are Christian.
And the other 70%?

Almost all Japanese aren't Christian, but it's still a major festival there. Most are Buddhist or Shinto. In Korea, the majority are Buddhist, who see no conflict in celebrating the Christian holy days with their own faith.

The majority in South Korea have no religion and a slightly larger Christian population but other than that yeah. You don't have to be religious to celebrate Christmas. It's a time of giving and sharing.

I'm surprised. Just about every Korean I meet is a devout Christian. Good folks.

Meanwhile N.Korea is laughing at S.Koreas response and will now wait another year or so for their next attack killing a few S.Koreans and renew the cycle of talk, military drills, sticking out chests and....nothing. Oh, and sanctions, feeding N.Korea and nuclear talks.

I'm not Christian and I still celebrate Christmas. I have a very hard time seeing any relation between Christmas and Christianity other than name.

Still have yet to find where in the Bible it mentions a fat guy, with a sled pulled by flying reindeer (one with a glowing red nose), who gives gifts to every child in one night.
