If they do find the elixir of youth they need to make sure anyone who takes it cannot collect a pension of any form otherwise we are royally screwed

Honestly, I wouldn't want to live forever. A few hundred years sure, but not forever.

I would personally enjoy it, most of the issues would be solved with an increasing reliance on technology and due to a major in History I like to watch it happen.

For those wondering, Dr. Ronald DePinho is no slouch in his research area. The Nobel Prize for telomere research which was awarded in 2009 (with a severe lack of fanfare in the medical research community, reaction to it was kind of split) to three scientists went to one scientist who collaborates closely with DePinho, who himself is well known for his past work coming out of Harvard.
