"My father was a sergeant major in the army and used to clip a car mirror on the end of his pace stick and held it under the kilts of his men to check they were suitably undressed for parades," Wilton said.

Um, hate to point this out to the guy but it appears his dad might have been on the down low.

Renting a kilt? How much do they cost to buy (I imagine if you're willing to rent one you're willing to buy one)?

With all the "sheep love" banter I've read on CKA, NO WAY am I getting close to a rented kilt, with or without underwear. PDT_Armataz_01_32

"Really you shouldn't ask a Scotsman what he wears under his kilt." he said. "Imagine the offense you would cause if you were to ask the same of a woman."

Women don't have the tradition of going commando. Unless your name is Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan, but who would ask them anything anyway?
