I wonder if they'll declare how many millions of marine creatures have been destroyed in this disaster. They've conveniently skipped over that point the past while.

I wonder if they will also declare how many species are going to go/have gone extinct as a result of the planet being its usual moody self and changing the climate again, or how many died as a result of Krakatoa, Mt. St Helens, meteor strikes, tsunamis, floods, hurricanes, ice ages, and millions of other events.

If you really want to stick it to BP stop using any technology as somehow every product will be traced back to oil. They conveniently skip over it because for the entire event it was the front page as well as for a month after the event, they got enough publicity to last a lifetime and any mention of the oil disaster would send people after them yelling that they are not doing enough and should spend all their money to clean up the after effects.

So... is it time to push for the super horizontal drilling process where you dig a hole from shore to the oil deposit?
