He's 19, so no worries about him being tried as a juvenile. But maybe he's native, certainly had a rough upbringing, so with the time he'll spend in custody pre-trial, he probably won't get much of a sentence at all. After all, it's not like the victim died or anything. Then they'd get real rough with this guy - give him 3 or 4 years to act as a deterrent.
