This doesn't so much damage my view of immigration(overall, it's a positive force), but moreso my stance on refugee claimants.

Let's hope the trend continues. Even immigrants already here are hardening in their attitudes, as they see what a scam it is and what a load of rubbish they've been promised.

The tamils are abusing the system and the Canadian people. This has to stop! The ships should be intercepted once they reach Canadian waters. Given supplies and fuel and what ever else humanitarian aid and sent back. If they don't land they can't be processed. It is the tamils already here that are encouraging this sort of thing. Most refugee claims are bogus and the government knows it. Its time to stop this.

I actually agree with you on something, Ken. Who would have thunk it? Can those things be done in international waters just outside Canadian territory. It's my understanding that once they're in our waters, we're fucked for some reason.
