I feel for the U.S. police, this lack of crack down or filtering by the U.S. Military is really going to cause police officers some grief. Not only that but unecessary deaths. Gang members who are pretty much the ultimate scum of the earth. Probally packing assault rifles amung other things. Gangs with over 1 million members and now some with military training. U.S. police should take a lesson from British police in Northern Ireland. In the sense of offering protection to there officers because its quite sad that gang members are better equiped, better protected and now even equally or better trained.

Fuck when they got rid of the RUC, they unleashed about 12000 of the best trained "gamg members" in the world

This isn't new. I can remember that back in the 80's the US Military was extremely concerned about unknowingly recruiting gangbangers. Apparently the gangs sent member into the military specifically to learn about weapons and military tactics.

I see by this article that the US Military's attempts to eliminate it weren't exactly successful.

I wonder how much trust you could have in another serviceman if you knew he belonged to a rival gang?

I thought they had this issue back in the 70's after Vietnam, then again after the first gulf war.

I figured this was common knowledge but based on some of the posts here apparently it wasn't so common!
