To put the size of the blast in perspective. I was on duty no the base today and we thought that something in the mechanical room had blown up as it shook the building...... Were about 4-5km away.
My first thoughts were a drug lab or a natural gas leak, but seeing it was one house i'll go with the former rather than the latter.
