I'll keep my personal opinions about whether he should have been allowed to join or not reserved. But 2.3 million? where is he getting that figure from?

WTF is it with police that can't handle routine procedures? In this case they fcuk up a breath sample, in the Jaffer case they can't make impaired driving and cocaine possession stick? I swear this cops are doing this on purpose for people with pull. Either that or they need to be IQ testing their cops.

That's what the entrance exams do and in deed do weed out those with low aptitude. However they don't tell it someone will be a good cop, honest cop, or has any common sense, that part is left for human evaluation and perceptional bias.

For this guy my guess would be that being a cop he knew better than most perps 1005 how the procedure was supposed to be done and had a better advantage in getting off on a technicality.
