So it was okay for the MP and MLA to be threatened by the organizers? Your hackery is showing. If your sole purpose is to have at Gordo and the Liberals, go for it. But didn't he do the right thing in this case, calling out these clowns?

Good for Gordo. I hope Dianne Watts (Surrey Mayor) has the stones to do the same, but I doubt it. Glorifying terrorism for a few votes is disgusting. (Plus it's not his riding and will lose him votes in his own if he attends).

I'm just wondering if this group has ever been or is currently being investigated to ensure that any funds they raise ain't going back home to support terrorism in India. Seems to be a fair bit of admiration amoung this group for the terrorist organizations in India.

You've got to be kidding. What politician wants to alienate such a big block of voters. Actually the Khalistan movement is bigger in BC than in Punjab. Things are pretty quiet there, what with a Sikh as prime minister and all. And the police there cracked down and whacked a few of the fuckers, that also seems to have put a stop to it. Here we can't even put the Air India conspirators in jail.

Dianne Watts did attend the parade, but bravely (sarcasm) removed herself when a controversial float with "martyrs" went by. I thought she had more balls than that. But she did say she would look into denying a permit next year. I"m sure that's just an empty gesture. No way she can afford to alienate this large group of block voters.
