California is going to need all the pot it can get, given the challenges it currently faces. But atyy least they are doing somehting about it--voting on it. More than I can say about Canada that just been wringing its hands about it for forty fucking years.

I have no idea of current pot prices, but isn't $50 an ounce rather cheap? The whole idea with legalization is to add sin taxes to benefit the govt coffers and put a brake on consumption. Since pot is so easy to grow, there will always be some kind of black market - but a vastly reduced one. The gangstas will have to look elsewhere for their bling money.
