If Canada really cared about Israel keeping it's end of the bargain, it would do a lot more than "regret." If the US really regretted the settlements, Biden would have flown home instead of just keeping Netanyahoo waiting for 90 minutes. Without the US support, Israeli settlement construction would stop yesterday. How can they ever expect to live in peace when they just keep swallowing up more and more land?

The US is so Israel-whipped that we will tolerate anything
including the USS Liberty incident (where they wanted to sink an
american warship with no survivors and cover it up)we will eat
anything the Israeli's dish out.

They've been getting away with it for decades, why would they stop now? They seem to be neither realistic, intelligent, understanding nor peaceful. Tho I gotta admit, if I was surrounded by states trying to eliminate me, I might not be either.

“Regret” just doesn’t seem appropriate......

I’ve never understood the complete lack of respect the Israelis have for the Palestinians considering they were in the same situation 70 odd years ago. Israel is losing support every time they pull one of these bone-head moves, and considering where they are, I’d expect they’d start mending some fences by now.

Canada is being governed by Steven Herpes - he's more in Israel's pocket than Obama is. Or at least with less excuse, since the Jewish lobby is so much weaker in Canada.
