aaahhhh Canada, where a group of teens can kill a man and only get a bit more than two years.

Perhaps it is time we started a complete revamp of our justice system...Surely their sentences is way too light based upon the severity of the crime or do we simply no longer hold a value of human life in today's society?

Perhaps if these little shits started running into 'accidents' after they are released, the courts might contemplate keeping them under lock and key longer......you know for the sake of their own health and welfare.

Society has a right to see that these criminals don't pose a danger. If someone is intentionally allowing them to threaten society, then perhaps they too need some justice meted out to them, just so they get the message and mend their ways.

My real problem is that this stemmed from a supposid gun purchase, 13-16 year olds looking for a gun, what kinda shit are they into. A TO housing project, hmmmm could they be gang members?
These guys should have been charged as adults, I'm a firm beliveve that if a youth commits a very adult act they should have to serve an adult sentence, save the young offender crap for minor thefts ect.

They should have all been charged for murder. Beating the poor kid for several hours before stabbing him in the neck isn't an assault. Some of those kids could have walked away or stopped at least 2 of the teens but they didn't. I'm sure they'll become pillars of society after their lawyer prompted (it's what lawyers are paid for) apology.
