Sounds real kinky but tastes good?

With what's on the board right now, it's pretty clear everyone recalls their vehicles at some point. The only difference is the "Asian" manufacturers tend to react faster. The NA manufacturers have a nasty habit of ignoring or denying the problem until enough people die or someone wins a court challenge. Ford’s history in that regard is particularly bad.

So is every Recall now going to be huge News now? Despite that a year ago much the same Recalls wouldn't have warranted a Press Release.

I hate News Trendiness. A White Girl needs to disappear, that'll change the subject fast....

I suspect recalls that are a safety issue will continue to make the press unlike recalls for bad trim fit or a sloppy coffee cup holder....

Toyota will survive this, despite what xenophobic agenda-pushers want one to think. Tylenol, Maple Leaf Foods, Ford, Audi, GM all survived pretty horrific quality issues and Toyota has done what most educated, informed industry experts should and hopefully this sends a message to its corporate culture to right the ship.
