Good, hopefully they can find some evidence to convict someone in that young girls murder also.

$1: Ludwig was convicted in connection with two Alberta gas-well bombings that took place in 1998, and served 28 months in prison. Hmmm, previous conviction for bombing gas related equipment; lived 25 kilometers from the B.C. border; and yet it took them 15 months to figure out who did it? Who was leading the investigation? Inspector Clouseau? Anyhoo time to put the guy away for good. Throw away the key type of scenario.

Suspecting and proving are two different things, however, I hope they throw away the key this time.

Wow. Didn't see that coming, him living in the area and all. And even issuing the statement a few months back for the bomber to turn himself in.
But we all knew he was a good citizen, being in the right when he shot and killed that 16 year old girl and all.

What is known is that she was a passenger in a pick-up truck, which had tresspassed onto the Trickle Creek property, late at night, and was tearing around across the front yard, burning donuts close to the main house, ignoring the screams, shouts, and warnings from the residents. The fatal shot was fired by one ( unknown) of the residents only after the truck came within a few feet of a tent with children and young people in it.The death of Carmen Willis was tragic indeed, but certainly avoidable. The driver of the truck is the one who should be held to account! If you thought family or friends were in imminent danger, that serious injury or quite possibly even death was a very real outcome of anothers reckless and wilfull actions, what would you have done in the heat of the moment?

Good point Yogi, but reverse the question. Would you want your son possibly shot dead because he had a 1 minute major brain fart?

Alta_redneck Alta_redneck: Good point Yogi, but reverse the question. Would you want your son possibly shot dead because he had a 1 minute major brain fart? Absolutely not Ar, but if my son was doing something illegal and stupid, of his own volition, as hurt and angry as I would be, how could I hold one of his intended 'victims' responsible? Such a scenario; If my son & a couple of his buddies decided to do a home invasion, and by chance they choose your home to break into, they have weapons of some sort, and are threatening you and your family with physical violence, or perhaps even death, you understandably feel threatened, and fear for your life as well as those of your family members, you manage to get the drop on him and kill him. How could I, or anyone else even think to hold you responsible for his death?

Both sides are equal as it is a terrible tragedy but the circumstances brought it on .
