Some germans would like to see those places bulldozed. I have a couple of buddies in Bovaria. They feel like WWII is a ball and chain they'll never be rid of. They think that's what the world associates them with when the travel and people hear their German. Especially the 6'3" blonde one . (bad joke, sorry Hius).

Could have been young guys with that attitude just drunk and acting out of anger maybe... I can see it.
