We'll comply once they accept other countries and their religious believes. Let them come to Canada...our country will change our existing Laws to suit others.

So would this mean they can twist this potential new law to their own ends by seeking extradition of someone else in another country who speaks out against Islam? Or will they just accuse whoever is non-muslim, while visiting those countries, of committing blasphemy against their religion specifically for not being a Muslim?

No. Extradition is only done when the act is crime in BOTH countries. Your scenario would only play out among Islamic nations.

They are digging a grave with things like this. This contradicts the freedom of religion that the UN and most of the civilized world believes in.

If they try and put this on the international stage....

Emery's case may yet blaze some legal trail. But trafficking narcotics is certainly an offense in both countries.

There is no way that is going to get accepted and is purely idiotic. Also would this apply to all regions or just Islam? They never stated just Islam in the article but news companies generally twist words to sound more socially acceptable. Just curious.

For hard line Islam, I think tolerance is blasphemy too.
