If you want to be known as "Sex Workers", then start "Paying Taxes". Otherwise, you are prostitutes.

I'm sure if they legalized it, paying taxes is very likely.

They cannot pay taxes for something if they declare they do will land them jail.

Interesting think, sex. Give it away, no problem. The difficulty occurs when you start to charge for it. :(

Sure they can. Revenue Canada makes no moral conclusions. The taxman already accepts tax returns from prostitutes and drug dealers. And prostitution is already legal in Canada, depending on how it's transacted.

The poverty pimps want to graduate to small business owners? Did they check in with the Toronto arm of ACORN?

I find it hard to believe that anyone would pay those women for sex acts (Barf)
Having said that I'm all for legal prostitution, a hoe is a hoe either way and it's happening like it or not. Regulations can be enacted to protect these women from the lives they lead, why not.

That is exactly what brothels are in Europe, small businesses. A much safer way to do business than nightly streetwalking.

I see it as a much better alternative to the murky system we currently have here.
