Ok now see? I'm not THAT dogmatic in my beliefs. It's still a movie I'll be watching when it comes out. Especially from the historical/biographical perspective.

I dont suggest watching it for its historic representation of Darwin, Im sure there are plenty of real documenteries that would do a much better job. This movie is made for entertainment.

Well that too but I didn't wanna minimize it by cutting it down to mere entertainment I just meant that it sounds like it could actually be an interesting movie worth watching. Probably better than the dreck that passes for "historical representation" in Hollywood.

Take U-571 for example. Great production values but sooooo historically inaccurate I couldn't watch it.

This is 100% BS. The US distributors must be panning to the extreme right. This kind of a film should be any problem.

In the past they have foisted all kinds of garbage on us not to distribute this is high hypocrisy.

Am I going to have to order this film from Canada. I will do it. I am not allow some chickenshit distributors not allow me a film that looks quite interesting.
