This has been the second arrest this week by the Toronto police's child exploitation and sex crimes unit that involves members of vampire freaks.com.

On Monday, police allege Derek Campbell, 28, of Toronto met a 13-year-old girl on the website in 2007 and took video of her in sexual positions.

Campbell has been charged with making and possessing child pornography, sexual assault and interference, invitation to sexual touching, and bestiality.

There have been other criminal cases with ties to the vampire website.

In Toronto, a 14-year-old boy stabbed his little brother, known only as Jonathan, 71 times in November 2003.

The youth was convicted of first-degree murder and during his trial it was learned that he and his love interest had profiles on vampirefreaks.com.

Seems like a site that requires further regulation or shut down.

My second youngest son, the one with schizophrenia, was really heavy into this site for about two years. I joined just to see what it as about. Mostly just a bunch of freaks posturing for each other, but it would be a useful tool for someone with truly evil intent, like this guy. Main theme, I'm angrier than your are and NOBODY understands that. I am not usually in favour of censorship, but it seems appropriate in the case of vampire freaks.com

I went to the site and most of it's members seem to be in their teens and early twenties, but the thing I found strange was that almost all the women we're bisexual? Then I read a few of the males profiles and it's pretty self evident why.
