I am and I'm not. I don't like sweating gallons while sitting still in the shade.

That sounds absolutely brisk to me. Those are our temps from the end of April until about the middle of November...without factoring in the humidex. Taipei is actually worse than here, as it sits in a basin. It's not unusual for temps to hit the upper 30s in the summer, day after day, and then factor in humidity ranging from 60 - 90%.

Our humidity has been in that range(82% couple days back, 88% right now)too. Supposed to drop next few days.

Geez, here in Halifax... well besides the humidex usually always being 100% all the damn time, our temps around here may have hit the 30 degree mark once so far this summer. Our average temps so far have been the low 20's, rain, clouds, humid.... normally by late June, early July we're bouncing back and forth around the 30 range.... I don't even remember the last time it hit that mark this year.

This summer thus far has been a lot more wet and a lot more cooler compared to the past. Last summer was certainly warmer then this, but I remember it was still not as bad as the summer before that.

About three-four years ago it was so damn hot that all fans and air conditioners were sold out accross Nova Scotia for the majority of the summer..... it sucked. Then Hurricane Juan smacked us and things started to cool down... then "white Juan" smacked us with a pile of snow following that... since then I've noticed things around here have been cooling off each year.

Of course since Hurricane Juan smacked into us, we haven't been hit directly with any serious hurricanes..... actually we haven't had any hurricanes since, to my knowlege. I'm used to what it was like when I was growing up.... which was at least one decent sized hurricane a year, grabbing the tarp with my brother and cousins and go gliding out in the field at my grandfather's farm.

Not quite as warm here....high 20's and clear as a bell for the next week at least. It's been like that for quite awhile now, 33 yesterday even though they said we'd only hit a high of 28...

Its pretty "as usual" here... 35-ish for a couple of weeks, with peeks to 40-ish...
(funny thing, no one calls that a heatwave, but when it happens in the lower mainland, its news )
