To those who assert "There is no scientific evidence that Tazers kill..." , I say: HOGWASH!!
Hundreds of people have died in North America after having been tazered by police. Scientific logic dictates with 100% accuracy that most, if not all, of these Tazer victims would probably still be alive today had they never been tazed in the first place!

I got an even better invention.... the Tommy Taser with a hundred round barrel so you can electrocute and entire room of people by spraying from the Hip.

Or how about the Taser RPG that launches a car battery at your head?

Taser International Inc. should be investigated for the manipulation and control they have over the police forces in north America ..... These tasers to the cops are like crack to a addict or candy to a child.......cant live with out it..and will do any thing to get it.................and dont know how to control it...............

Their just providing a product and it's up to the cops to come up with policy on how to use it, not the company. There's restriction up the yin-yang on police use of firearms and every time they use a club or batton, their handywork is open to criticism. Here they were promised a magic box that leaves no marks but hurts people so go figue they'd abuse it.

Tazer has issues on it's own but tazer dosen't make police policy also.

It's the police that must decide how to use these new tools, not the manufacurers.

The unfortunate thing is that police forces in both the US and Canada didn't conduct their own studies on the device and based their training and procedures on Taser's biased and faulty studies...... yes it's their responsibility to issue their own procedures on how to use tasers, however they didn't really do this and blindly followed Taser's procedures they listed out, along with Taser's claims that the device is harmless.

And when all these situations of people being injured or killed in relation to taser use, they parroted Taser's claims that the Taser is perfectly safe, while not really looking into the device themselves to actually know what they are talking about.

So in that sense, both your comments and the counter comments to your's are correct, to some degree.
