I expect we'll see our usual lax Canadian punishment for white collar crime. One thing bothers me though.. the "$30 to $50 million from about 50 investors makes me think these rich investers should have known better.

Give him a life sentence,with the provision that he can buy back his freedom after 10 years, by paying restitution to his clients immediately. That would eliminate the possibility that he has it squirreled away somewhere.
