Have a care my good man, the plantiff has a heart condition but does Denny let its customers know the nutritional facts about their meals? I like my meat and all but that that Meat Lovers meal makes me go "squick!"

Actually, I know for a fact that you can walk into any retaurant and ask for the nutritional values of the meals on their menus. If your supposed to be watching your diet you should take the time to be informed about what your eating. So to answer your question with a question, did this patron bother to inquire for the list?

I'd say probably not, but he should have. It's just common sense.

Exactly my point. My wife is 8 months pregnant right now and has developed gestational diabetes, she is now VERY attentive to her diet and must limit carbs especially, whenever we eat out she asks and never once has any retaurant refused to produce this info.
It is HER responsability to monitor her diet, not the restaurants. I hope they throw this case out of court.

$1:
"I was astonished to find that these simple sandwiches have more salt than someone in my condition should have in a whole day," DeBenedetto said in a statement.

I'm astonished that he was astonished. :?

Who the hell goes to Denny's, the restaurant that pioneered the Big Bucket O' Eggs 'N Bacon for breakfast, and gets surprised when it has all the nutritional value of eating a urinal cake?

I'm hoping this lawsuit is dismissed as frivolous. It's another case of somebody expecting the world to responsibly sanitize itself so he can merrily march along responsibility free.

Well put! It's not just the salt that's unsafe, the "food" at Dennys is not fit to feed to dogs!

Actually, now I'm siding with the Denny's hero. I figured it was my turn to cash in, so I went to a local Esso and drank $4.44 worth of Supreme right out of the nozzle before attendents tackled me. My lawsuit centres around Esso's lack of food-related warning stickers on the pumps.

On another note, it was delicious!

1500? For a healthy person?

Bullshit!! That is less than my dietician recommends I take in and I had a heart attack last year.

2000 to 2100 for healthy folks.

I love the menu item they picked. Does anyone here think that a meal with chopped bacon, bacon strips, sausages, crumbled sausage and cheese is going to be low sodium.

It took me a grand total of 15 seconds to find Denny's nutritional info on their website. They are actually better than a lot of places.

The people that go to Denny's are either a) already morbidly obese; or b) hungover. Those are two demographic groups that don't put healthy-active living at the top of their priority lists.

I fully expect to have a heart attack at some point. I hope I have it at the greasy diner, over a plate of eggs and sausage after a night of rum and stupidity. I intend to live as long as my lifestyle and Lipitor will allow and when I go down, it'll be MY fault, not the grill-man's.
