It's all to plan. He's shut dowm nuch of the media that dosen't like him and now he's found a foreign problem to mobilize against. It's the typical communist dictatorship.

Ya, "elected" leader. You want to spread "freedom" yet cry when they elect someone who looks after the people instead of the rich.

Reminder, Hugo was "elected".

Oh, of course when an elected leader does something that conflicts with your ideology he is all of a sudden a "dictator"...

Get over it. It is only a matter of time until all of the Americas are controlled by governments that are not western puppets.

Yeah.. the president of China is "elected" too.
Long live "presidente for life"

Do you want to explain why he needs to support Columbian rebels?

PostPosted: Fri Jul 24, 2009 9:59 am

Why don't you explain the "War on Drugs" and what an effective program that has been keeping drugs off the streets?

And to explain his support for the Colombian rebels...well the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

How many rebel groups does the US support? Hundreds? Thousands?

There is no sense arguing that what Hugo is doing is wrong when you support an ideology that commits the same crime a dozen times a day.

Well, arn't you an angry little fellow.
What's wrong.. Mad because you didn't get a vote for your national chief?

Maybe accountability and democracy are something you need to learn at home before you can preach to others.

Chavez is as much a warmonger as he accuses the US of being, him and dude from Iran are just looking for anything to rail against and the States happens to be their target.

Not to say that the US involvement in South America has been anything but murky, but lets see who fires first when this conflict breaks out.

But it's ok for you to hate the US?

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." The US is your enemy?

You push a particular brand of loathing and hostility. An abhorrence of the US and those you perceive to have a differing viewpoint.

You don't debate you just espouse propaganda mixed with intolerance.

Brasco's rule is that of a hypocrite.

Chile is the wealthiest nation in South America while in Venezuela, people have to take a number to buy simple things like milk, eggs or bread. But oh, he "cares" for his people.... right.

More imperialist posturing from a man with delusions of grandeur and paranoid enough to make Howard Hughes say he's "completely nuts".

Fun times.

What does Chile have to do with Chavez being a warmonger? I think my friend that you should reread my post!

Venezuela is a wealthy nation as well due to it's oil but ALL the wealth is constricted and funneled into the elite class for them to play with while the general population has to struggle to feed themselves.

I never once said Chavez "Cares " for his people, although he is elected I don't expect for us to see this nation with a different leader for a VERY long time (same as Iran), I only pointed out that American interests in the region have been nothing but controversial to say the least.
