But I thought Harper appointed all those people last Christmas to tip things in his favour, what's going on?

Maybe the 'party loyalists' he appointed aren't so loyal...or maybe they just want to do their job and actually review things, instead of rubber-stamping everything that comes their way.

Not even debating it.. Just stalling for political purposes.
Time for another ultumatum. It's not like the Liberal have any policys their willing to stand up for anyways.

$1:
"When it comes to protecting children, when it comes to mandatory jail terms for people who commit crimes with firearms, when it comes to labeling people as dangerous offenders ... we have legislation that will accomplish that and the Senate appears to be holding it up," Minister of Public Safety Stockwell Day told CTV Newsnet's Mike Duffy Live.

Why is it you cons think that installing a jail culture like the US will work? Aside from the evidence which shows that harsh penal systems are a poor method of combating crime you guys never seem to examine the actual taxpayer cost. You'd think that since above all others you complain that taxes are high enough you'd be reluctant to increase the size of the government and hence its cost to you.

Why do you Liberals still keep thinking that ignoring the drug problem will make it better? You've had 13 years of getting yur way and now Canada is rife with grow ops and the worlds largest mfg of designer drugs.
Is that the Canadan values you talk about?

Stop playing politics and get to work.

Sorry but when you realize that the only solution is to legalize drugs then you will get it.

Until then throwing loads of people in jail won't do a damn thing.

If it's the solution, why didn't your Liberals legalize drugs then?

Dodge? From you?
Suprise suprise.

They went partially there with your activist judges but it's obvious that they chickened out actually doing what your saying. If it's the perfect solution, will we see it on the next Liberal platform?

Them crazy Liberals almost got away with decriminalizing Marijuana not too long ago I believe.... then the US threatened to tighten up the borders and search Canadians more, bogging down border crossings.

So the Liberals bent over backwards and did a complete 180 and recriminalized it.... only for 9/11 to tighten up the borders, search people more and bog down border crossings.... brilliant

Its not a dodge. You keep thinking the Liberals should do exactly what I think and say. Not every Liberal agrees with my beliefs on legalization.

You think health care should be privatized like the US. Let your party run on that........ please.
