Ok, good on him for not driving drunk (clap,clap,clap) but.
1. isn't leagal age 21 in the US (or is it just some states)
2. If you can afford to go to a concert and drink there these days you can probably afford the cab ride home.

but thats not relevant given the circumstances.

2. I'll bet the kid was worried his car would be stolen.

One trip on the bike, long time ago, got rousted in Michigan at 6am,
cop started giving me shit cause I locked my bike next to the picnic table
I was sleeping on... told him I was tired, and didnt want to waste time
looking for a hotel thta wouldnt be open at 3am.
And yes I put my bike on the grass and had it beside me cause I worry about stuff like theft.

Fortunately, he got called away; stolen car doing 120 mph

Well he didn't hurt anybody and in the end that is what the judge considered.
