While there are western papers that say this is portal to terrorists to spew their garbage there are also "fundamentalist moslems" who decry that Al-Jarerra does going far enough in vilifying the West. I think it should be allowed as long as the reader keeps in mind who is writing the stories are not written by the CBC.

Well said. All news media, by its nature, will have a slant to some degree. If one knows the source, one can better interpret the story. It is also useful to look at things 'from the other side' occasionally

When was the last time we actually jailed someone for being racist? Al Jazeera presents another side to the various media reports. You don’t have to agree with it. Until they actually break any laws, let 'em be. When Fox News gets banned then there may be grounds to ban Al Jazeera .

I doubt that AlJaz dropped all the Iran coverage just to air non-stop 24-hour Michael Jackson cycles the way those worthless assholes at CNN did over the last week. More power to AlJaz then and they ought to pass a law stating that CNN is no longer allowed to call itself a "news" station anymore because clearly they ain't.
