So your telling me that Russia, US, and the danes, (i'm missing someone here), are all making big changes to arctic policies, planting flags, sending planes and ships and doing massive research to the viability of the arctic for resources, and our federal government doesn't deem it a priority to give the FEDERAL research agency a board? something seems a little off, maybe even a tad bit 'fishy' to me

What's "fishy"is this guy is gonna be out of funding and a job soon so hes useing the alarmist route to get his message out.
We are up their doing study,s,he was involved,why was it so marginal then?
This is alarmist!

Fenge said the polar commission should have been heavily involved in International Polar Year research efforts over the past two years, instead of playing the marginal role it did.



This is 3 guys wanting their job's reassured for many more years,nothing more,nothing less. :roll:
