Looks like the U.S. will be focusing more on border patrol from now on and a top priority.

However that hitman thing is something you'd expect out of a game. That is some intense stuff.

This will most certainly give groups like the Minuteman Border Patrol ammunition for their cause and greater justification.

This doesn't sound good for my trip coming up in a 2 weeks...all I have heard is bad news.

We crossing in South California and going to Tijuana, obviously for a few roller coasters, and this kind of worries me. I wasn't planning on bringing a passport but if there are all these issues now I think I should either A bring it, or B not go at all.

If you go, "exercise a high degree of caution."

Say coaster_dot, once in TJ just catch a flight to Cuernavaca, in the state of Morelos. (flights are cheap inside Mexico)

The city is sorta like an old European oasis, and safe.

Well were taking a taxi from Southern Cali to Tijuana, and back. Were only staying in Mexico for about 1 hour tops...basically ride the coasters at the park then leave. Then were taking the taxi back to California.

Stay the FUCK out of Zona Norte. I lived there for a month in a hotel in the district 20 years ago.

Even then it was a dangerous area, now even more so. The cops wear bullet proof vests and tend to pick up American's to get money. (cops are not paid much, so curruption is rampid)

However, if you are looking for a hooker or drugs... (or to lose a kidney)

oh yeah, have fun..

Uhhh, I wouldnt do that.. you will be marked immediately.

The whole border area from TJ to El Paso seems to be rather
dangerous these days, not a good time to go walking.

At least take a bus, or better take a cab for the whole trip.

I'm trying to tell them its not a good idea, but there just saying "oh well be fine Ive done this before...blah..blah..blah". Maybe I will just sit back when they do go.

See if I cross a border, I want to feel safer when I cross into another country...not the other way around. Kind of like crossing the Detroit/Windsor border :D
